Handrails and glass
Usually, glass fences with U-profile type can be with handrail or without. However, we recommend having a handrail. Obviously, it makes the glasses 100% in one row. In addition, it is practical and stronger. There are several types of handrail you can choose from, below:
- Mini square type handrail, made of ALU. Simple and little visible, mounted on the top of the glass with a special silicone
- Round type handrail, made of stainless steel. Round type handrail looks solid, mounted on the top of the glass with a special rubber gaskets. It is supplied with corner couplings and end caps on the handrail.
When we talk about the thickness of the glass, we can essentially offer two options. Specifically, the U-profile construction itself is the reason. In detail, you can choose one of the options we offer: 16 mm thick tempered + laminated glass; 12 mm thick tempered + laminated; or 12 mm thick tempered glass. As has been noted, only these glass options are possible. In fact, U-profile glass fencing with 16 mm thick glass is extra heavy. Our customers often require tinted or frosted glass. Tinted glass can be grey or brown. Comparatively, frosted glass looks like white - it is unclear. It is very popular when saving privacy from the street. Make sure that we always produce and complete the fence completely, with complete installation kit. In this case, our customers have no worries about screws, silicone, gaskets, clinch or anything else.
