Glass railings JM Stugor & Fritid with Post Wall & Facade bracket

Glass balustrades are an elegant, modern and tasteful solution as a type of "fence" or guardrail that adds a lot of character and can be used both indoors and outdoors, for example around patios, verandas, terraces, balconies and stairs etc.

• Glass railings / glass: laminated glass, 8 mm or 8.76 mm, either with clear foil, with opal foil (frosted) or with grey-tinted glass. Laminated glass means that two sheets of glass are glued together with a foil in between. If the glass breaks, the sheet of glass still holds together. The glasses have ground and polished edges when they are delivered. We also offer a tempered and laminated glass for environments where the glass will be exposed to repeated or constant external stresses.
• Round profiles Ø 42 mm - round stainless steel posts with a diameter of 42 mm. For indoor use: AISI 304 and for outdoor use: AISI 316.
• Stainless steel AISI 304/316
• Stainless steel railings to be mounted indoors use a stainless steel variant of the posts that goes by the name AISI 304. However, if they are to be installed outdoors, AISI 316 is used instead, which is acid-resistant stainless steel and very durable.

In general, this square post can be mounted from the top and front of the floor. Moreover, it goes well with modern or classic style buildings, for interior and exterior. It is also easy to install if you follow our detailed manufacturing drawings. Usually, glasses for such a glass fence are mounted from the front of the square posts. Apart from this, this style is preferable for an extra protection against wind. Moreover, there is no free space at all (when taking a terrace view), when the glass is mounted from the front of the square posts. Especially, we offer a standard steel AISI 304 type or extra anti-corrosion steel type AISI 316 for such posts of glass fences. In fact, both steel types do not rust themselves. The main thing is not to damage it with another metal or during the installation process. Especially we offer AISI 316 steel, when the object is near the sea or at the customer's request.

Handrails and glass

Specifically, square post glass fencing can be with a handrail or without it. Usually this style is mostly required with a round handrail on top. Similarly to vertical posts, the round handrail is 42 mm (standard diameter). Nevertheless, we have a nice 90 degree corner connection for the round steel handrail. Also straight connection and adjustable connection are offered. In fact, we always make handrail with extra connection to the wall, in case if glass fence starts or ends in the wall. For this reason, the extra handrail connection to the wall will help the glass fence stay strong and stable. Customers most often choose 8 mm thick tempered glass for a square post glass fence. Sometimes tempered glass is combined with laminated, it all depends on your wishes. We can also offer 10 mm thick glass for glass railings in that style. Our customers often require tinted or frosted glass. Tinted glass can be grey or brown. Comparatively, frosted glass looks like white - it is unclear. It is very popular when saving privacy from the street. Make sure that we always produce and complete the fence completely, with complete installation kit. In this case, our customers have no worries about screws, silicone, gaskets, clinch or anything else.
